I am deeply grateful for Rhoda taking care of our Mother, who has advanced Alzheimer’s disease, during our son’s wedding. She picked up our Mother from her assisted living facility and drove her to the wedding, which was quite a long drive, and stayed, by her side throughout the wedding. She was a wonderful Caregiver and allowed us to enjoy one of our family’s most important events, while also fully enjoying having our Mother there. Rhoda was very kind to do this on short notice, on a day when she normally does not work, just because she is such a caring and kind person, who enjoys serving others. I gladly give her my highest recommendations.

It was in the spring of 2003 when my family had the pleasure of meeting Rhoda Blackwood. She came to us in a time of great need, my husband James Phoebus was suffering from pancreatic cancer. Rhoda was such an efficient nurse to him, taking care of all his needs. James looked forward to her visits because of her kind, friendly, compassionate and caring nature. Rhoda took the best care of my husband, even to the end where he died on April 11, 2004. I just could not have made it without her. Rhoda has now started her own homecare service, I couldn’t’ be more proud of her, Rhoda and her team comes and help me out once a month, I love her dearly, she comes very, very highly recommended, if you have Rhoda and her team you have the best.
Sincerely Yours,
Loretta Phoebus
Rhoda Blackwood and her home nursing team have been dedicated to the care of my senile, homebound, 96 year old father, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for the last 20 months. They have not missed one day during that time and have never been late. This incomparable record of dependability is matched by their total concern for my father and their absolute trustworthiness in all matters, financial and otherwise. They have provided expert nursing care, and I have never had cause to doubt their medical judgment. Further, they have been available and happy to do extra chores such as shopping for my 95 year old mother, who is alert and self-sufficient but has difficulty ambulating because of arthritis. My family has been blessed to have the impeccable geriatric nursing care provided by Rhoda and her nursing team. I can enthusiastically recommend them without reservation.
